The Healing Journey is a 10-week guided experience designed to help you move from pain to peace after loss. Each week combines real-life teachings, reflection exercises, and supportive practices that gently guide you through healing — emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. It’s not therapy; it’s a guided healing space rooted in compassion, cultural understanding, and hope.
We understand — a lot of grief programs can feel cold, rushed, or one-size-fits-all. The Healing Journey was created with you in mind — your story, your pace, and your culture. We walk beside you, not ahead of you. Every session builds connection, trust, and practical steps so you can move forward with peace and clarity.
We designed this journey to maximize your investment in your healing. You’ll spend 2 hrs each week learning about grief and how it impacts you, learning coping skills and strategies, and how to move forward with your life. These lessons are presented through various engaging techniques. Healing shouldn’t add stress; it should create space for peace.
That’s okay — readiness looks different for everyone. Dr Sherry will provide a brief individual consultation to help you determine if you are ready. This program meets you exactly where you are. You don’t have to “have it all together” to start. Many people join unsure and leave feeling lighter, more grounded, and supported. Starting the journey is the first step toward healing.

The Healing Journey isn’t about “getting over” your loss — it’s about finding meaning and hope while honoring what you’ve lost.
Life happens! You’ll always have access to your materials for each week. Weekly attendance is highly encouraged because many activities overlap from the previous week.
You’re always in control of your comfort level. Sharing is definitely encouraged as part of your healing process. Some people may initially be reluctant to share their personal story but quickly move beyond that when they realize this is a safe nonjudgemental setting. When engagement occurs, you will quickly realize that you are not alone and you belong here.
The Healing Journey is guided by compassionate and qualified facilitators who understand the depth of loss and the strength within the community. Each facilitator brings both professional experience and a genuine heart for helping others heal and rebuild.
